“Darling scanned the Venetian Hotel’s clock tower on the Las Vegas Strip for a 3D video projection show for the Carnavale Festival. This show is projected onto the complex facade of the clock tower creating a stunning 3D display of light and music. You can see the production here.
3D video projection mapping is a new technique used to turn complex and irregularly shaped facades into ‘screens’ by warping and masking computerized images to fit perfectly on these surfaces. The result is a stunning 3D display that goes far beyond traditional video projection.
This production is by Ross Ashton and deployed by UnitedVisualArtists.”
