ExoHand by Festo, A custom 3d printer made exoskeleton robotic hand demo

“The ExoHand from Festo — an active manual orthosis with sensitive fingers The ExoHand from Festo is an exoskeleton that can be worn like a glove. The fingers can be actively moved and their strength amplified; the operator’s hand movements are registered and transmitted to the robotic hand in real time.
The ExoHand, which is customised to fit the hand of the individual user, is manufactured from polyamide in the selective laser sintering (SLS) process. For this purpose, the exoskeleton is produced on the basis of a 3D scan of the user’s hand.”
